The Giants are in town!

Six games into the Betfred Super League season, Paul Rowley’s Salford Red Devils sit in fifth place and are looking to bounce back from defeat against Wigan Warriors.

Huddersfield Giants are the visitors to the Salford Stadium for this one; so ahead of the game, we’ve answered some of the most frequently asked questions to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.


WHAT’S GOING ON?

FROM-12:30PM:

The activities outside the stadium kick-off with a DJ set, who will be building the atmosphere ahead of our first game of the day.

The very popular Beer-bus will, once again, be in operation on the south-west corner of the ground, so supporters can enjoy a refreshment or two before even entering the stadium.

Bach 95 – a gluten-free lager company – will also have a stand in the same area; as well as options to purchase tea, coffee and other hot beverages.

12:45PM – SALFORD RED DEVILS WOMEN VS LEIGH LEOPARDS WOMEN KICK-OFF!

Our Super League-bound Women’s team will be facing Leigh Leopards in their final pre-season friendly before the regular campaign gets underway.

This will be taking place on the Community Field next to the Salford Stadium, with Head Coach, Chris Bates naming his 18-women squad on Friday.

Remember, some of our girls are still available for sponsorship in 2023, so contact hannah.edge@salfordreddevils.com for more information!

The 1873 lounge opens for supporters at this time.

POST-1:30PM

Turnstiles for our men’s fixture against Huddersfield Giants open at 1:30pm.

At this point, John Blackburn from the Salford Red Devils Foundation will have his Tombola stand set-up closer to the stadium bowl.

The Supporters’ Trust will have a table set-up in the south-west corner of the concourse, giving fans the opportunity to sign-up for a membership. Members of the Salford Red Devils men’s team will be joining them throughout the afternoon – so pop over and say hello!

Please can we urge supporters to bring BOTH card and cash for the concession stands.

3:00PM-SALFORD RED DEVILS VS HUDDERSFIELD GIANTS KICK-OFF!

Our Round 7 clash gets underway at 3pm, so please take your seats early and back the boys as they enter the field for another crucial Super League fixture.

3:40PM (APPROX) – HALF-TIME

Local school, St Peter’s – from Swinton – will be on the pitch at half-time, playing touch rugby.

4:30PM (APPROX) – FULL-TIME

For members of the 1873 Lounge, we will be showing the Premier League clash between Newcastle United and Manchester United on the big screens. Last orders will be at 6pm, with the lounge closing at 6:30pm.

TICKETING:

Yes! Tickets for this game remain available and can be secured in two ways:

Online – CLICK HERE
On The Day – Tickets can be purchased on the day from the ticket office, located on the West Stand.

Please note that this game IS included for 2023 Season Ticket Holders. If supporters are yet to collect their season tickets, they can do so from the ticket office following the game, accessing the stadium using their digital ticket for the fixture. 1873 Lounge season ticket collections are taking place at reception.

PARKING:

On-site car parking is available at the Salford Stadium. Parking is not operated by the club.

Through CosCos and EST Parking, we have been able to secure some reduced price car parking for supporters on land earmarked for development close to the stadium.

In order to ease congestion when arriving at the Stadium, supporters can pre-book their parking by clicking here.

1873 LOUNGE:

Supporters who have opted to purchase match tickets in the 1873 lounge will be able to purchase refreshment options from a menu created by new stadium catering partners, Heathcote & Co. 

There will be different food and drink options available, so check out the menu on arrival.

Please note, whilst children are welcome in the 1873 Lounge, they should not be left unattended and should refrain from playing ball games around the lounge and exterior hallways.

The Man of the Match award will be presented in the lounge post-match.
