On Tuesday evening, new signing Daniel Vidot visited 1st Ellenbrook Brownies, Worsley to help spread the word about the Red Devils in the local community.
This is the first time the Brownies have been introduced to Rugby League and they were all very keen to ask Daniel questions when they took part in a Q & A session with the former Brisbane Broncos, Canberra Raiders and St George Illawarra Dragons winger.
The group asked some fantastic questions and wanted to know about the fastest and strongest players, the basics of rugby league and how Daniel was settling in to life in England.
Ellenbrook Brownies were provided with team sheets, Match Day Programmes and signed photos of Daniel and the visit got everyone excited about the start of the 2016 season!
The group will be joining us at our first home game of the season against St Helens, Thursday 11th February, KO 8pm as Match Day Mascots. They’ll be bringing parents, friends and family to the game too to experience the Red Devils in action.
Tickets for the St Helens game are now available by calling 0161 786 1570 or from our website www.reddevilsrugby.co.uk
We’ve got a number of openings for community teams and groups to be Mascots during this season. If you’d like your club to join us on a Match Day please email admin@thereddevils.net
