THE ORIGINAL RED DEVILS

An update from Salford Red Devils CEO Ian Blease

After a busy few weeks Salford Red Devils CEO Ian Blease gives us an update on the latest ongoings at the Club ahead of the 2018 season.
Salford Red Devils CEO, Ian Blease, said: “We’ve had a lot of positive news coming out of the Club over the past two to three weeks and we fully expect this continue past Christmas and into the 2018 Super League season.
“Season Ticket sales have still been steadily increasing even since the early bird period came to an end and I’m delighted to say that we have currently sold more Season Tickets than at the same stage last season.
“Of course, we know this is far from job done and we will continue to look for new Season Ticket holders to grow this number before we take on Wigan on the February 2nd.
“We released our 2018 home kit yesterday and the response from our fans has been nothing short of exceptional with the vast majority of our supporters loving the design.
“I’m also particularly fond of the kit as it’s a reboot of one that I proudly wore in the 1980’s. The amazing reaction yesterday has coincided with some very promising early pre-orders for our 2018 home shirt and we are expecting this to continue.
“Exciting developments are being made with sponsorship deals with all of our major partners staying with us into the 2018 season. We have also improved our match-by-match sponsorship packages which we are sure are going to be a hit with the corporate sector.
“To matters on the field and the lads have been back in training for two weeks now and are looking very sharp – I’m hearing great things from Coach Watson.
“Our new signings have settled in brilliantly and the competition for places this season is going to be brilliant. I already can’t wait to watch the lads back on the field on January 14th when we face local rivals Swinton with ticket details for that game due to be released soon.
“In the coming weeks, we will have more news including an event for fans, another signing, another friendly, the launch of our away kit and more importantly some news on the Board of Trustees which I know fans are waiting to hear.
“The Club is in a good position at the moment with people working hard in every department. I’d like to thank the fans for their patience and for spending their hard-earned money on season tickets and our range of clothing produced by Steeden.”
