TYLER DUPREE WINS MARCH PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Tyler Dupree has been voted Salford Red Devils’ Player of the Month for March.

It may come as no surprise that our number 16 has scooped the award after a stellar month in Red and White. However, he did fight off competition from fellow teammates, Ryan Brierley, Marc Sneyd and Kallum Watkins.

His incredible month started at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, where his running power and tackle bursts caused Warrington Wolves a whole heap of problems – including an incredible show and go on halfway.

Despite Wire’s second-half comeback, Dupree received some worthy praise and carried that form into our next Betfred Super League game against Hull FC. In a 14-60 demolition, he bumped off multiple FC defenders to crash over under the sticks for his first of the season.

He was dominant in our next encounter against Wakefield Trinity, where Marc Sneyd’s drop-goal earned Salford two points. And despite defeat at the DW Stadium a week later, Dupree was – again – excelling at prop.

In reaction to winning the award, Dupree said: “I’m buzzing to be given Player of the Month and I am grateful to everyone that voted!”
