Salford Red Devils prop, Tyler Dupree has been called up by the England Knights after enjoying a breakthrough season in the Betfred Super League.
The 22-year-old signed for the club in May – penning a deal until the end of 2023 – and has proven to be an excellent addition to the forward pack. After forcing his way into the side, Dupree has become a regular on Paul Rowley’s team sheet and will no doubt progress even further next season.
His efforts have been recognised by the Knights, with Dupree joining Deon Cross in the squad for the upcoming internationals against France B and Scotland.
Reacting to his call-up, Dupree said: “Buzzing to be included in the England Knights squad, it’s been a rollercoaster of a year and I’m glad it’s not over yet.
“My coaches and team mates have played a massive part in me becoming a better player and getting this opportunity.”
Also commenting on his inclusion, Head Coach Paul Rowley added: “I am really pleased that Tyler’s hard work and good form has been recognised.
“It’s been an incredible journey to join Salford from the Championship half way through the season and to perform so consistently well. He’s worked extremely hard this year and being a part of the Knights will allow him to experience an elite environment at international level, which will further help his personal development.”
