Transport
Cycling & Walking –
We encourage as many people as possible to walk or cycle to the Stadium There are 14 double sided bike racks at the stadium. You must bring your own lock.
Buses –
The Salford Stadium is served by 2 bus routes. The 100 covering Warrington to Manchester and the 67 covering Manchester to Cadishead . There is a short walk from the bus stops.
We now operate a shuttle bus service on match day to and from the Trafford Centre. Details on how you can access this service can be found here.
Metrolink –
The nearest Metrolink station is at INTU Trafford Centre. There is an approx. 20 minute walk to the stadium from the Trafford Centre. The walk from Eccles Metrolink is approx. 35 minutes. See Metrolink info here.
Alternatively, our shuttle bus services – as mentioned above – runs from the Trafford Centre bus station.
Train –
The closest railway station to the site is Patricroft, 3.3km away (31 minute walk). There are several other railway stations nearby to the stadium which can be accessed by bus services including Irlam (5.6km/ 1 hour 9 minute walk) and Eccles (3.7km/ 47 minute walk). Eccles and Patricroft stations are served by the Northern Rail service between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Victoria; both of which have onward connections to the rest of the country. Irlam is served by service from Liverpool to Manchester Oxford Road.
Private Cares and Other Vehicles –
There is limited car parking at The Salford Stadium and we advise that all match by match car parking should be booked, in advance, online by clicking here. Cash/card payment on the day is also an option.
Do not park on nearby roads such as the Salford Western Gateway and land to the rear of the Barley Farm as we have been advised traffic enforcement will be in operation and you may be fined.
Car parking is situated in front of the main West Stand, with South car park used as an overspill area, and is controlled and operated by the The Salford Stadium.
Parking in the South overspill area can be pre-purchased via the above link for £7.50, with a £10 cost for pay-on-the-day. Parking in the West Stand car park is £10 both pre-purchased and on the day.
Once you have purchased your pass, you must activate your account via the link sent to your email address. If at any point you need to change the registration number, you must do it within your account prior to the game.
Disabled Parking –
The stadium can accommodate a significant amount of disabled car parking bays 28 of which are wide. As with regular car parking spaces are limited and must be pre-purchased by calling the stadium directly. Spaces are chargeable and blue badges must be displayed in the vehicles.
Motorcycles –
There is motorcycle parking for up to 6 motorcycles. On a matchday all motorcycle parking must be prepaid.
Coach Drop Off and Parking –
There are lay-bys on stadium way for coach drop off and parking. Mini Bus and Coach parking must also be pre-booked via THIS link.
Helicopter –
There is a Helipad situated at City Airport.
