Head Coach, Paul Rowley has handed Betfred Super League debuts to eight players in our final fixture of the regular season.
With qualification for the playoffs already secure, there’s a chance for our established names to have the night off and recover fully for our upcoming eliminator.
That means opportunity knocks for some of our Reserve grade talent and seven have made the step-up to the first-team for tonight’s encounter.
Billy Glover and Josh Wagstaffe are the two centres, with Ethan Fitzgerald on the wing. Reserves Player of the Year, Charlie McCurrie also earns a well-deserved call-up into the back-row.
Leunbou Bardyel-Wells, Charlie Glover and Jack Gatcliffe make up three-quarters of the bench, with Jamie Pye – a more familiar face – returning from a loan spell at Barrow Raiders to make a debut of his own.
It’s also a special night for Adam Sidlow, who makes his 150th Super League appearance.
