THE ORIGINAL RED DEVILS

TEAM NEWS | BRIERLEY MAKES 300TH CAREER APPEARANCE

Paul Rowley has made three changes to the team who were beaten by Hull KR last Friday.

After Betfred Challenge Cup elimination, the Red Devils are looking to continue their impressive early season form with the visit of Leigh Leopards.

Despite suffering three consecutive defeats to start 2024, Adrian Lam’s side will take huge confidence from their last Super League outing – a 4-54 thrashing of Hull FC.

After limping off against KR, Salford supporters will be pleased to see Ryan Brierley line-up at fullback – making his 300th career appearance.

Ethan Ryan and Deon Cross keep their places on the wing, with Nene Macdonald and Tim Lafai at centre.

There’s a forced reshuffle in the forward pack, with Gil Dudson’s injury meaning Jack Ormondroyd lines up alongside Shane Wright.

There’s also a change at hooker, with Joe Mellor set to make his Salford Red Devils debut in place of Amir Bourouh, who is on the interchange bench.

After making a full recovery from injury, Ollie Partington is also back at loose-forward.
