THE ORIGINAL RED DEVILS

Community | Swinton Cubs & Beavers benefit from Community Ticket offer

Earlier this season the Salford Red Devils, in conjunction with the Salford Red Devils Foundation, launched the new East Stand ‘Community Ticket’ initiative and the scheme is already proving popular with the local community.
Swinton Beavers and Cubs took up the ‘Community Ticket’ offer for Friday night’s win over Hull FC and had a fantastic experience watching the Red Devils run out victorious.
Swinton Beavers and Cubs engaged with the Salford Red Devils Foundation and utilised the innovative new ticket offer to help raise funds for the group.
The Beavers and Cubs came down to watch Friday’s game on the back of visiting the Salford Red Devils Foundation earlier in the week to have a tour and learn about the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
This tour and talk involved meeting first team players Robert Lui and Junior Sa’u at the The Salford Stadium and the Beavers and Cubs were delighted to meet both first teamers, talk to them and take pictures with them – even featuring on Junior Sau and the Club’s social media channels.
Pauline Mack said: “All the children had a wonderful time and the whole event was fantastic.”
Cockermouth School were also in the East Stand as flag bearers at Friday night’s game and they also took part in a half-time lap of honour.
Local community clubs such as Monton FC, Cadishead Rhinos and Salford City Roosters have all also taken advantage of this unique ticket offer retaining 50% of all sales to raise funds for their clubs.
JOIN these local community groups today by experiencing a Salford Red Devils fixture while raising money for YOUR good causes.
And, the other 50% goes into the Salford Red Devils Foundation to fund programmes such as Rising Stars player development, Offload Mental Health schemes, local community school visits and Salford Red Devils heritage projects. The whole community is the winner with this fantastic new initiative.
