THE ORIGINAL RED DEVILS

SRD Foundation to feature on shirt this Saturday

Those eagle eyed Salford Red Devils supporters will notice something different about the kit this weekend as the club takes on the Catalan Dragons. The Salford Red Devils Foundation will feature on the front of the Devils playing jersey for the first time this season.
Alcohol licensing laws in France prohibits the advertising of alcohol on kits and as such the Red Devils are taking the opportunity to showcase and honour the community work being done by the club, and broadcast its community programmes to the wider world.
Behind the scenes, the club delivers 1000s of hours of community initiatives across Greater Manchester and beyond. Players such as Captain Tommy Lee, and club ambassador Adrian Morley alongside club mascot Doctor Devil lead the way as Red Devils players and coaching staff feature in hundreds of player promotions each year.
Under the umbrella of its very own Foundation a team of dedicated coaches, teachers and volunteers deliver a range of sport, health and education based programmes. Working with over 125 schools in the last year, across Salford, Manchester, Trafford and Bury, the clubs community operation has its own museum and classroom facilities at the The Salford Stadium.
The Foundation delivers a range of projects including our Tackle Men’s Health initiative, a schools coaching programme, community club development work, a Red Devils Dance Academy and our very own Rising Stars Player Development Programme amongst much much more
