The 2025 season is finally here; but before we rip into some Betfred Super League action, a trip to Birmingham is on the cards for Paul Rowley’s side.
We take on Midlands Hurricanes in Round 3 of the Challenge Cup, looking to kickstart our competitive campaign with a victory.
There were certainly promising signs from the Red Devils in our one and only hit out of pre-season – a 12-40 win against St Helens, in Morgan Knowles’ testimonial.
The Hurricanes – the only elite professional rugby league club in the Midlands – will host the Reds at the Alexander Stadium, with a 2pm kick-off.
