Salford Red Devils will crank up their pre-season preparations with a visit to St Helens on 25th January 2025, as part of Morgan Knowles’ testimonial.
Following ten years of service on Merseyside, the loose forward will be celebrating his fantastic career throughout the season, with this fixture – scheduled for 3pm – the centrepiece.
The Reds took on the same opposition three times in 2024, with each fixture a real classic in its own right.
In early March, Deon Cross’ 75th-minute winner completed a stunning second-half comeback, confirming a first away victory against Saints for 44 years.
Paul Rowley’s men backed that up by completing the double with an equally thrilling home victory – Chris Hankinson this time with a winning effort that was voted our Try of the Season.
It needed golden point to find a winner when the sides met for a third time in Round 21, but this time Moses Mbye’s drop-goal stole the points from a valiant Salford performance.
This will also be the first time supporters get to see some of our new signings in action; including Esan Marsters, Chris Hill and Justin Sangaré.
Red Devils’ supporters will be located in the South Stand, which is opposite the tunnel, but in block SB. This is an allocated seating section.
