Salford set to face Catalans at Magic Weekend in Newcastle

The Salford Red Devils will face Catalans Dragons at the 2018 Dacia Magic Weekend on Sunday 20th May with a 1pm kick-off.
The Magic Weekend will return to St James’ Park in Newcastle for the fourth consecutive season and this will be the first time that the Red Devils have faced the French side at the event.
Tickets for the 2018 Magic Weekend at St James’ Park, Newcastle, will be on sale from 10.00am today (Wednesday 18th October). Day tickets are priced from £25 for adults and £12.50 for concessions. Weekend tickets are also available from £40 for adults and £20 for concessions. Remember Salford Red Devils Season Ticket holders can get 50% off their Magic Weekend ticket.
Saturday’s fixtures include Widnes against St Helens, Wigan versus Warrington before a repeat of the 2017 Super League Grand Final between Castleford and Leeds.
Salford open play on the Sunday against Catalans before Wakefield face Huddersfield and the Hull derby returns as Hull KR will battle it out against Hull FC.
Super League General Manager, Mark Foster, said: “We are delighted to be bringing the Dacia Magic Weekend back to Newcastle for a fourth year. We had a number of other cities bid to host what is a fantastic event but Newcastle is a great venue for us – the city has made us feel incredibly welcome over the last three years and we know our fans love to come to Newcastle for the weekend.”
