Our Women’s team are back at the annual Nines festival early next month.
Hosted at Victoria Park, Warrington, on Sunday 5th May, 18 teams – including eight from the Betfred Women’s Super League – will be competing to book their spot in finals day.
Salford Red Devils have been drawn in Group 4, where they will face Wigan Warriors, Huddersfield Giants and London Broncos.
Games consist of two nine minute halves, where a squad of 15 is cut-down to starting nine, but with unlimited interchanges.
Teams score four points for a try, but if grounded in the bonus zone under the sticks, five points are awarded instead.
All kicks, including restarts, are taken via a drop kick, with successful conversions still scoring two points.
