Salford Red Devils Foundation Offer Free Online Sessions

Salford Red Devils Foundation are offering free online activity sessions to and any schools which feel their students would benefit from having additional structured sports sessions, backed up by the players and staff of the city’s Super League club.

A Captain Confidence session, which focuses on children’s mental fitness, will also be available free of charge.

All supporters will have access to two online community sports sessions per week, at 3pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Salford Red Devils Foundation Director Neil Blackburn said: “We all feel the pain of a new lockdown, but it is so important that we all follow the guidance and come together to fight this virus as one whole community.

“Together we will get through these tough times and as an organisation we will do all we can to support our community.

“We are pleased to be able to offer schools and the community free access to online sports sessions and we will reinstate our foundation mobile number for anyone to call if they are struggling, or merely want to chat to somebody.

“I must also thank our funders, who have been outstanding with the support they have provided us. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to provide the excellent range of services that we do.”

All partner schools have automatically been offered free access to the sessions. For more information and to register your interest in receiving access to our structured online sports sessions, please contact: joanne.shepherd@srdfoundation.co.uk

The Foundation mobile number will be accessible during office hours: 07532042666
