Salford Red Devils Foundation is pleased to announce that their Board of Trustees has two fantastic new additions.
These new trustees bring with them a wealth of knowledge and experience and have expressed their excitement at joining the team and both cannot wait to help Salford Red Devils Foundation continue to deliver its array of outstanding community programmes in Salford and across Greater Manchester.
The first new Trustee, Mr Paul King, is a prominent figure within the modern world of securities and has been a passionate Salford Red Devils fan for many years. As a successful businessman Paul is well placed to help guide the Foundation as it embarks on new and exciting programmes.
Paul King said: “My love affair with Salford commenced on a wet Friday evening at the Willows back in 1973, some 45 years later my passion for the club and the community burns as brightly as ever.
“I am delighted to join the Board of Trustees and hope to play a part in enabling the club and the Foundation to further enhance their position, providing hope and inspiration at the heart of this wonderful community”.
Paul also sits as a Director on the Salford Red Devils Holding Board and his addition to the Foundation Board of Trustees can only be of benefit as this brings both organisations closer together from a strategic perspective ensuring the maximum impact is achieved within the local community.
The second new Trustee is Mr Michael Burke who has over 13 years’ experience working in Television and Media. Currently a Sports Producer/Director at BBC Michael can help raise the profile of Salford Red Devils Foundation and advice on an increased media presence.
Michael Burke said: “As a lifelong Salford RLFC supporter I am extremely proud and excited to be joining the Board of Trustees on the Salford Red Devils Foundation. Hopefully I can play a part in raising awareness and developing something that is close to my heart”.
