SALFORD RED DEVILS CONFIRM FOUR LOAN ADDITIONS

We can confirm four new loan additions will be linking up with the Salford Red Devils squad ahead of Friday’s clash with Leigh Leopards in the Betfred Super League.

As confirmed yesterday, our Round 23 clash at the Leigh Sports Village will go ahead as scheduled. A selection of first-grade players are now available again, and the Club has managed to secure a selection of players on loan from across the Super League.

The first of two additions from Hull KR is back-rower, Leon Ruan. Known for his power and athleticism, the 22-year-old moved to East Hull after making his breakthrough with Leeds Rhinos. Yet to make an appearance for the Robins, Ruan joins the Reds on loan for Friday’s fixture.

As does his teammate, Louix Gorman, a young, exciting centre who made his Super League debut for the Robins versus Wigan Warriors in 2023. He has since enjoyed loan spells with Featherstone Rovers and London Broncos, but will now link-up with the Reds.

Highly-rated centre, Jack Darbyshire also joins the club on loan from Leigh Leopards after spending a loan spell at League One side, Rochdale Hornets. He will be available for selection against his parent club this Friday.

Wakefield Trinity’s Neil Tchamambe will also be an option for Paul Rowley, as the 6ft 4 winger makes the move from West Yorkshire.

We’d like to thank our fellow Super League clubs for their help during this process.
