Salford Red Devils forward Gavin Bennion has joined Swinton Lions on a one-month loan ahead of the 2018 Betfred Championship season.
Bennion, who is sponsored by SRD Roofing, joined the Club from Rochdale Hornets in pre-season and featured against the Lions in Salford’s 50-12 pre-season victory three weeks ago.
The Welsh international has previously played for Swinton in 2013 and 2014 before having spells with Featherstone, Halifax and most recently Rochdale.
Swinton will travel to Toulouse in their opening Betfred Championship game of the season before back-to-back home games against Bennion’s former side Rochdale and Batley with the forward in contention to take part in all three.
