Head Coach, Paul Rowley is wary of an early-season trend with tomorrow’s Betfred Super League opponents, Huddersfield Giants.
In every game so far this season, the West Yorkshire outfit have taken a lead into the half-time interval, but have been unable to make that advantage count on each occasion.
Despite that, Luke Robinson and Co will certainly be looking to turn that 40-minute performance into an 80-minute one, and it’s something Rowley has pointed out ahead of our meeting at the Salford Community Stadium.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, he said: “Both sides have not got a win to date, so in that respect, it’s all set up for a good game. They’ve been challenging in every game, they’re a good team – their problems are very much different to ours.
“Nevertheless, I’ve got a lot of respect for the selection issues they’ve had through injury, etc, but that’s the challenge of coaching.
“We’re looking forward to it, it’ll be a difficult challenge, they’re a good team and it’s well documented they’ve been winning every game at half-time – so we’ll have to be good.”
