Head Coach, Paul Rowley is wary of the danger an in form Leigh Leopards side will pose to the Reds on Saturday afternoon.
It’s Round 9 of the Betfred Super League and Adrian Lam’s side are in town looking to maintain a spot in the top three, after winning five of their opening eight rounds of action.
The Red Devils, despite a spirited effort, came away from Perpignan empty-handed in our last outing, so will be looking to bounce back on home soil.
When asked about the challenge of facing the Leopards, Rowley said: “I think Leigh have been great ever since they’ve come back into the Super League.
“We’ve always had some really tough games against them and it will be no different this time. They’ve obviously had a rebuild, recruited and dropped the age of the team, gone like-for-like, but with a younger, more energetic group.
“I think it’s a really dangerous fixture because they’re very capable of causing a lot of damage. I’ve got a lot of respect for Leigh and how they go about their business. I like the way they play and they’re well supported so they’ll be a good crowd as well.”
