ROWLEY HAS RESPECT FOR INFORM TRINITY SIDE

Head Coach, Paul Rowley has previewed the task of travelling to face Wakefield Trinity in Round 12 of the Betfred Super League.

Daryl Powell’s side are one of the form teams in the competition at present, dismantling Warrington Wolves 40-10 at the DIY Kitchens Stadium just last weekend.

Possessing an abundance of quality, with strike all over the park, Salford will have to be a their very best if they want to leave West Yorkshire with two points.

Tom Johnstone is the third top metre maker (1635) in 2025 so far, with Caius Faatili proving to be a huge try threat for Trin in the forward pack.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, our Head Coach gave his respect to the Wakefield Club for their progression in the last 12 months.

“They’re a good team, Wakefield, they’ve had a tremendous start to life in Super League on their return, ” he began, “They’ve rebuilt the club on and off the field, so I’ve got a lot of respect for them as a club and the work Matt (Ellis), Daryl (Powell) and the rest of the staff have done there.

“It’s a difficult task and we’ll have to be pretty resilient defensively and bend our back a little bit more against a team who love to attack. If we sit on our heals then we’ll have a lot of problems.”
