Rising Stars is back and there’s never been a better time to get involved in one of the Salford Red Devils Foundation’s most successful programmes.
These all-inclusive sessions are running for the next six weeks at Salford Roosters Rugby League Club (M30 7LS) and are open to anyone in Years 10 and 11.
No prior RL experience is required and you don’t have to be attached to a Community Club, so players can come down to try something new, or even just to have fun.
The Rising Stars has regular training throughout the year and gives players the chance to represent Salford Red Devils in some friendly fixtures.
However, if becoming a professional rugby league player is something you aspire to be, this programme has a track record of developing some local talent.
Hooker, Connor Aspey and now Leeds Rhinos’ regular, Luis Roberts were the first to come through the Rising Stars programme to make their Super League debuts.
Jack Stevens – now at Swinton Lions – made his senior debut against Warrington Wolves, whilst fullback, Nathan Connell has also been awarded a senior contract for the 2025 season.
Most recently, Josh Wagstaffe and Charlie Glover were two of a host of debutants in our Round 27 squad against World Champions, Wigan Warriors.
Follow in the footsteps of these young players and come along to the programme where it all got started for them. Fill in the form HERE to register your attendance.
