The Rugby Football League have today confirmed the respective fixture lists for our Reserve grade and Elite Academy sides.
With the Club granted its license in late May, there has been an air of optimism around the newest pipeline of local Salford talent now in our pathway system.
Our Reserves also ramped up their pre-season with the first friendly of 2025 against Barrow Raiders, last Saturday.
Despite distance on the scoreline, there were a lot of positives for Stuart Wilkinson’s team, who went toe-to-toe with a very experienced Betfred Championship side.
All focus will now turn to their regular season opener, which has now been confirmed as a trip to Castleford Tigers on Saturday, March 8th.
Last year, an impressive showing from our Reserves saw us storm the Mend-A-Hose Jungle and secure a 18-34 victory.
Our new-look Elite Academy will host the Huddersfield Giants on Saturday, March 22nd, in their first competitive fixture since receiving the license.
The squad, led by Danny Barton, features nine players from our local Community Clubs and will want to kickstart a new era in the right way.
