Tim Lafai, Joe Mellor and Kallum Watkins have all been included in the Super League Team of the Week.
On Saturday evening, Salford Red Devils secured a playoff place with one game to spare after a convincing away victory over Hull FC.
There were star performers all over the field and you could argue every single member of the starting thirteen has a case for an inclusion this week.
Man of the Match, Tim Lafai was a shoe-in with his incredible all-round display. An absolute menace with ball in hand, the Samoan scored a hat-trick and made a phenomenal 270 metres across the contest.
Likewise, the skipper, Kallum Watkins continues to set the standard week in, week out and joins Warrington’s Matty Nicholson in the back-row of Round 27’s team.
He put the ribbon on a fine Salford move to score a try of his own near the hour mark, bursting onto a short ball from Jayden Nikorima to break through and acrobatically touch down.
Joe Mellor is fast becoming a regular feature in the Super League TOTW and his two-try performance merits another inclusion this week.
The halfback-turned-hooker is by far one of the signings of the season and become hugely popular around the fanbase for his excellent performances.
