Salford Red Devils are proud to be celebrating the country’s Armed Forces at the club’s Super League match against Huddersfield Giants on Sunday 11th August.
The event will give supporters the opportunity to interact with members of the Armed Forces, prove themselves on paintball and air-soft rifle ranges and come into contact with authentic military vehicles and weaponry.
Salford Red Devils director Paul King said: “We’re really thankful for this opportunity to celebrate our Armed Forces.
“There’s set to be plenty of activity for supporters to engage with, as part of a fun day out.
“Most importantly, we’re excited to welcome plenty of real-life heroes and want to give them the respect and gratitude they deserve.”
Members of the Armed Forces are able to claim a discounted price on tickets for the event from the The Salford Stadium ticket office, or by calling 0161 786 1570.
Colour Sergeant Alan Boyle, from The Mercian Regiment, said: “The opportunity to engage with the public is always important for the army.
“We’re really glad that Salford Red Devils are giving us the opportunity to do that, as well as the chance to come together with the other Armed Forces.
“Supporters will have plenty of chance to meet us all on the day and get first hand experience of the vehicles and equipment we use.”
Tickets for the event are available to purchase from the The Salford Stadium ticket office, by calling 0161 786 1570, or online HERE.
