Salford Red Devils would like to issue a reminder ahead of next Friday’s Eliminator game.
Following yesterday’s ticketing issue at Leigh, we have found that some away fans have purchased in some home areas of the Salford Community Stadium.
In some cases, this is in areas that are dense with season tickets and/or reservations, or where supporters believe other away fans have purchased. For clarity, this is not the case and the stadium seat map on our ticketing site has areas blocked out that the Club release manually in line with demand.
We’d like to remind all supporters that segregation is in effect, and that away supporters should purchase through Leigh Leopard’s in line with their own processes and within the areas allocated to them.
Leigh had been provided an allocation of the entire North Stand (standing), and some of W01 (seated). Since the initial allocation, and following strong sales from the travelling support, we have since provided the remaining entirety of W01.
We appreciate there may have been frustration for away supporters wanting to acquire tickets yesterday and that may have prompted purchases outside of the away allocation. Once the allocation is sold, further tickets will be made available for Leigh Leopards supporters – meaning there will be plenty of opportunity within the away allocated areas for supporters.
The ONLY allocated away supporter areas are as follows:
North Stand, W01, W02, E06, E05.
Any further allocation is to the discretion of the Salford Red Devils and will be agreed with Leigh Leopards and communicated in a timely manner when appropriate. To avoid issues on the day, Leigh supporters who have purchased already in home allocated areas should contact our ticket office on ticketoffice@salfordreddevils.com or 0161 786 1570 opt 1 to arrange for a refund.
Thank you for your cooperation and ensuring that next Friday’s Eliminator is a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
