Nene Macdonald has been included in the Betfred Super League Team of the Week.
The PNG international was the star of our 16-18 victory at the John Smith’s Stadium last Friday, scoring two tries in an all-round stellar display.
Macdonald was a threat every time he had ball in hand and is continuing to show his class at centre, week on week.
His first try was a stunning, 80 metre break after intercepting Jake Connor’s attempted cut-out pass with just one hand.
In the second-half, with a man in the sin bin, Macdonald powered over from dummy-half to extend our lead and score the try which ultimately made the difference come full-time.
