It’s almost time. Our Women’s team are just days away from their showpiece Challenge Shield final versus the Swinton Lionesses.
Mike Grady’s side have worked hard all pre-season to build connections and progressed through to Sunday’s game in flawless fashion.
After a 36-0 win over Wakefield Trinity in the last 16, another stunning display against Bradford Bulls in the quarter-final took our aggregate score across the competition to 88 points without reply.
With Hull FC’s inability to field a team in our scheduled semi-final, the date was set for a derby day final against our local neighbours.
Kick-off at the Millennium Stadium (WF7 5EN) in Featherstone is 3pm, but prior to our clash is the Challenge Plate final between Rochdale Hornets and Halifax Panthers – so supporters can head down early and enjoy both games.
Car parking is available on site.
Entry is £5 for adults and £1 for under 18s – cash only. With no Salford game at any other level this weekend, please come down to Featherstone if you can and show the girls your support.
