Salford Red Devils are looking to return to winning ways when London Broncos visit the Salford Community Stadium tomorrow afternoon.
Despite a much improved second-half performance, Paul Rowley’s men fell to defeat at the hands of world champions, Wigan Warriors last weekend.
Ollie Partington was on the scoresheet, but the holders were able to weather the storm – both metaphorically and literally – to take a 6-26 victory.
Moving onto this weekend, a win against the Broncos will maintain Salford’s spot in the top six for another week, but Mike Eccles’ men, despite a heavy defeat in Round 12, have showed what they can do with a convincing win over Hull FC the week prior.
A reminder that this forms one act of a double-header, as our girls take on Dewsbury Moor Ladies at 12pm in the Women’s Championship.
Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the two games:

SQUAD NEWS
There’s a few changes to the squad who faced Wigan Warriors last Sunday.
Ryan Brierley, who was struggling throughout the contest with a knock, is missing for this one. As is Amir Bourouh, with the young hooker still making his way back to full fitness after a problem of his own.
That means there’s a place in the squad for Nathan Connell, who has impressed with his performances at fullback the Reserves set-up.
There’s also another chance for new signing, Harvey Wilson to make his Salford Red Devils debut.
LAST TIME OUT
It wasn’t long ago we made the trip down South to face this Sunday’s opposition.
In a nervy encounter at the Cherry Red Records Stadium, Iliess Macani opened the scoring for the Broncos, but Salford soon responded via skipper, Kallum Watkins.
Ryan Brierley was a threat all afternoon and he broke the line to tee up his back-rower, who did the rest.
The Red Devils extended their lead just after the break when Marc Sneyd’s looping pass was touched down in the corner by Deon Cross.
It looked like the visitors might pull away, but King Vuniyayawa saw red and Salford were forced to see-out the remainder of the game a man down.
