Paul Rowley’s side will be hoping this isn’t the final time they’ll run out at the Salford Community Stadium in 2024, as the Red Devils wrap-up their final regular season home fixture against Catalans Dragons.
With a fourth place finish still certainly within reach, a victory against another direct playoff rival will – most importantly – go a long way to securing a spot in the top six, but also put them in the driving seat for a home eliminator clash.
Last time out, Salford were well-beaten by league leaders, Hull KR and will want to bounce back inside a home ground they’ve made such a fortress across the season.
Steve McNamara’s Dragons have suffered three successive defeats and need to re-find the confidence that saw them reach Old Trafford just under 12 months ago.
Here’s everything you need to know before this crunch clash:

SQUAD NEWS
The one change comes in the forwards, where Loghan Lewis – who is suffering with a groin issue – drops out and Gil Dudson returns to the fold.
Nene Macdonald and Joe Mellor, both try-scorers last week, are both in contention, with Marc Sneyd also close to climbing another place in the Super League’s all-time points scorer list.
Returning from injury last week, Jack Ormondroyd has come through his first hit-out unscathed and features in Saturday’s 21.

LAST TIME OUT
As it is for any team travelling to the Stade Gilbert Brutus, Salford found themselves in a tough and bruising encounter with last year’s Super League runners-up.
The Reds started on the front foot, but lost the in-form Loghan Lewis early-on after a nasty head collision. A few sets later, a bit of fortune from a deflected kick allowed Cesar Rouge to open the scoring.
A bit of improvisation from Fouad Yaha allowed Arthur Romano to double the Dragons’s advantage, before adding another try just before the half-hour mark.
It was an error-strung contest for both sides and Arthur Mourgue’s penalty-goal just after half-time was the only points scored in a quiet second forty – concealing the Reds to a 20-0 defeat.
