The summer festival of rugby league heads to Elland Road, with Salford Red Devils opening day two with a crunch clash against Leigh Leopards.
Magic Weekend is always a key date in the Betfred Super League calendar, as all twelve teams descend on Leeds for an important round of fixtures.
Our match-up is the third with the Leopards in 2024, with a win apiece meaning it’s well-set-up for a decider in more ways than one.
Here’s everything you need to know before this one:
HOW TO BUY TICKETS
All Cat 3 day and weekend passes have sold out from our ticket office. Any supporter still wishing to attend can do so by purchasing from the Leeds United box office on match day.

SQUAD NEWS
Samoan superstar, Tim Lafai is back at Rowley’s disposal after serving his one-game suspension in Round 21. His ability to make metres was sorely missed – particularly in golden point – so he’ll be a welcome boost to the team this Sunday.
Despite taking some nasty bumps and bruises at the TWS, Loghan Lewis is healthy and available for his first experience of Magic Weekend.
LAST TIME OUT
It was a tough evening for the Red Devils the last time we faced Leigh in the Betfred Super League.
Back in early May, the Reds went into a contest at the LSV off the back of three consecutive victories and confidence was high amongst the group.
Umyla Hanley and Josh Charnley got the Leopards off to a flying start, but Ryan Brierley pegged-back the deficit to just six after a neat passing move.
With the game finally balanced at half-time, the first ten minutes of the second forty were key and it was the same two wingers next on the scoresheet for the hosts.
Charnley notched a historic 300th career try, before Matt Davis, Brad Dwyer and Lachlan Lam out the game out of reach for Salford.
Tim Lafai had time to score a consolation, but the Reds’ red hot form was ended in emphatic style. It sets this meeting up nicely for a decider at Elland Road.
