Two of the competition’s most in-form teams go head-to-head in what’s sure to be an intriguing contest at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Salford Red Devils sit just two points from top spot after picking up a sixth Betfred Super League victory of the season last Saturday.
Beating a high-flying Warrington Wolves side will have only boosted the already soaring confidence amongst the squad after a positive start to 2024.
The games are coming thick and fast for Paul Rowley’s men, with a Giants side – who recently progressed to the Challenge Cup semi-final – the next obstacle to overcome.
Here’s everything you need to know ahead of this one:
SQUAD NEWS
There’s two big returnees to our 21-man travelling squad.
Brad Singleton has made a big impression since arriving at the club in late-2023. His performances have made him a popular figure amongst the supporters and his return from a knee injury will be a massive boost.
Similarly with Chris Hankinson, an off-season signing from Featherstone Rovers, who started his Salford Red Devils career with a spell on the wing.
He scored a brilliant try against Hull KR and was starting to build some real momentum, but a freak training injury stopped him in his tracks.
After a period of rehabilitation, he has been back on the field with the team and is available for selection on Friday.
The two notable absentees are Amir Bourouh and King Vuniyayawa, with the former adhering to concussion protocols after failing a HIA last Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT
Ken Sio stole the headlines in our last trip to the Giants, as he scored his 100th Betfred Super League try.
With playoff rugby league hanging in the balance, Salford Red Devils knew anything less than a win would all-but end any top six hopes.
The Giants opened the scoring via ex-Red Devil, Jake Bibby, but from that point onwards, Paul Rowley’s team took control.
Ryan Brierley provided the instant response, before Sam Stone’s brace either side of half-time opened a ten-point lead.
Then, the crowning moment for Sio, who raced onto Brodie Croft’s grubber in typical fashion to slam down number 100.
Chris Atkin rounded off the win with a neat team move and secured a huge two points. Click below to revisit the highlights.
