Red Devils’ duo Marc Sneyd and Nene Macdonald have both been nominated for June’s Glen’s Vodka Player of the Month.
It’s been the perfect month for Paul Rowley’s men, who took all six available points with some unforgettable results against fellow playoff-chasing sides.
Before a short break for the Challenge Cup Final, a 34-4 victory over London Broncos, which included a Tim Lafai double, powered Salford back into the top six.
However, it is back-to-back wins over Warrington Wolves and St Helens which will live long in the memory of every Red Devils supporter.
Two fantastic team performances, once on the road and once at home, completed two Super League doubles; including a first against Saints since 1980.
Sneyd and Macdonald have both been pivotal to these results and are worthy nominees for this month’s award.
