You have voted Loghan Lewis as July’s Player of the Month.
The Aussie has hit the ground running for the Red Devils and joins Marc Sneyd, Nene Macdonald and Deon Cross as a fourth recipient of this award during 2024.
Lewis had close competition from teammates, Joe Mellor, Ethan Ryan and Shane Wright, but takes home the award after a stellar showing across July.
After joining the Club from Canberra Raiders, Lewis has contributed to some memorable victories against Warrington Wolves and St Helens, but kept that momentum rolling in last month’s four Betfred Super League fixtures.
What makes his accolade so impressive is Lewis actually missed our meeting with Huddersfield Giants after failing a HIA out in Perpignan, against Catalans Dragons.
In our victory against Hull FC, he made 114 metres and 21 tackles in his 50 minutes, with another 19 tackles and 92 metres on his return against Castleford Tigers in Round 19.
In reaction to picking up the award, Lewis has said: “I would like to thank everyone that has voted for me.
“I have absolutely loved my first few months at the club; the welcome from the fans, coaches and the players has been unreal and is the reason why I am enjoying my footy so much at the moment.
“I’m excited to see what we can do as a team for the rest of the season!”
Join us in congratulating Loghan on his individual accolade.
