Assistant Coach, Krisnan Inu says the team has got ‘a bit of payback’ on the cards ahead of our second meeting of 2025 with the Leeds Rhinos.
Perhaps quite unusual that we’ve hosted the West Yorkshire outfit twice in the space of two months, but as one of our loop fixtures, the Rhinos are back in town for game two of three.
Revenge is certainly on the cards after a 6-32 defeat in Round 2, where despite a quick start from the Reds, six tries from the visitors took the two points.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference before our second meeting, Inu said: “I think both teams are different now – obviously ours is a lot different,” he began.
“For them, they’re playing well, they’ve got some good individuals and they’ve been playing well the last few weeks. Maybe not got a few results that could have gone their way, but they’ve been awesome.
“For us to come up against them again, at home, we’ve got a bit of payback up our sleeve.”
