Salford Red Devils are delighted to announce that local music legends, the Happy Mondays, will be performing at the Salford Community Stadium this coming Saturday.
To celebrate the first home Betfred Super League fixture of the season against Leeds Rhinos, the Happy Mondays will be performing some of their hit songs from the past four and a half decades before kick-off and at half-time.
Fans can secure their tickets for Saturday’s fixture here, with adult tickets starting from £24.50 each.
The iconic band, including stars of the Madchester scene Shaun Ryder and Mark “Bez” Berry, started their journey here in Salford back in 1980 before going on to sell out venues around the world and reach platinum status.
The band’s seminal 1990 hits “Step On” and “Kinky Afro” both reached no.5 in the UK charts, with the former reaching platinum status. You can be there this Saturday to see the band perform some of their greatest hits back in their home city for the Salford Red Devils faithful.
