GRADY LOOKING FOR 80 MINUTE PERFORMANCE AGAINST LONDON

Women’s Head Coach, Mike Grady says he is looking for a ‘hardworking 80 minutes’ against London Broncos this Sunday.

It’s a huge game for the Reds, who will be looking to compete with this weekend’s opponents for a spot in the playoffs come September.

The Broncos come into this contest in flying form having won four of their opening five games, after a draw with Cardiff Demons on opening day.

They possess a huge array of quality, but the Red Devils will be confident after returning to winning ways last Sunday against Hull FC.

Anna Dennis marked her return to fitness by hitting the fifty-point mark for the season, while our newest addition, Cailey Miller crossed for a brace.

It sets this game up nicely for the Reds to see where they’re at, as the season ticks toward its midpoint. Previewing the game, Grady expects a tough challenge and one that will require full focus for 80 minutes.

He said: “I’m expecting a really tough test against a good London side. We know what they’re about after finishing up runners-up in the Super League promotion game against Leigh last year.

“We have had a good look at their strengths and weaknesses and will be looking for a solid hardworking 80 minutes against them.”

Kick-off on the Salford Stadium Community Field is 2pm, so make sure to come down and back the girls in what is shaping up to be a fantastic contest.
