Gold Line Draw | Family donate winnings to Foundation

Salford Red Devils were saddened to learn of the passing of Harold Edwards – a 97-year-old lifelong fan – who recently won £500 on the Gold Line Draw before he could receive his winnings. However, his family have Kindly requested that the winnings go to the Salford Red Devils Foundation in his memory.
Mr Edwards, of Weaste, attended The Willows for many years and still supported the Club on a weekly basis through the Gold Line Draw.
John Blackburn, of the Salford Red Devils Foundation, said: “Everyone at the Foundation and Club are saddened to hear of Harold’s passing.
“We are aware of how committed a Salford fan Harold was and we will ensure his name lives on by placing his name on the Willows Wall in the Salford Red Devils Museum.”
Everyone at Salford Red Devils would like to pass on their condolences to the Edwards family and thank them for their generous donation to the Salford Red Devils Foundation.
