You have voted Deon Cross as June’s Player of the Month.
It’s back-to-back accolades for our flying winger, who joins Marc Sneyd as the only Salford Red Devils players’ to win the award twice in 2024.
Paul Rowley’s side enjoyed a perfect month of Betfred Super League action, beating London Broncos, Warrington Wolves and St Helens.
Across the three games, Cross scored five tries in three games and has seemed to form a deadly partnership with Sneyd; with three of his efforts almost identical in their execution.
The 27-year-old spent his first two years at centre, but is now flourishing on the wing – a position he openly admits he sees his future in.
In reaction to taking home June’s award, Cross has said: “It’s a huge honour to receive this award for the second time.
“I am really enjoying my rugby at the moment and the results have mirrored the effort we as a team are putting in every day on the training ground.”
“Thank you to all the fans who voted for me and I am determined to continue helping the team push for the best possible finish this season!”
Join us in congratulating Deon on yet another individual accolade..
