Salford Red Devils can confirm that Daniel Murray has joined Betfred Championship side Halifax RLFC on a one-month loan deal.
Murray follows Levy Nzoungou and Gavin Bennion to join lower league sides on short-term deals with Nzoungou at Whitehaven and Bennion at Swinton.
Murray, sponsored by the Salford RLFC Supporters’ Trust, said: “I’m really looking forward to playing with Halifax on Sunday.
“It’s good to be back they’ve got some quality lads in the team and playing with those sort of players will obviously help me development.
“Again the championship is a competitive league this year so it’ll be great to come up against the top teams in the league.
“Thank you to Richie for giving me the opportunity to play some first team rugby because that’s what I need to develop further.”
Murray could feature in Halifax’s upcoming games against Sheffield, Toronto, Rochdale and Batley.
