On Tuesday evening, the Salford Red Devils Foundation hosted the annual Lance Todd Award Dinner at The Marriot in Worsley.
The award was won by Tony Gigot of the 2018 Ladbrokes Challenge Cup winners Catalans Dragons. Unfortunately, Gigot couldn’t be in attendance however Jerome Guisset accepted the award on his behalf.
The Mayor of Greater Manchester and RFL President Andy Burnham opened the evening while the Ceremonial Mayor and Mayress of Salford also attended.

Another former winner Robbie Hunter-Paul presented the event with the assistance of Salford Red Devils Team and Player Welfare Manager Paul Highton while Dr Kevin Jones was the guest speaker.
The Red Devils were also well represented with current Head Coach Ian Watson and Director of Rugby and Operations Ian Blease at the evening. Tyrone McCarthy alongside Australian duo – and Salford new boys – Jackson Hastings and Joey Lussick also enjoyed the event.
It wasn’t just the Red Devils of present who were represented with a number of former Salford players present – John Butler, Bill Sheffield, Eric Prescott, Alan Grice, Phil Hurst, Paul Fletcher, Liam Owen, Danny Barton, John Cheshire, Andy Burgess and Theo Fages all made the event.
The event was extremely well attended and enjoyed by all.
