Salford halfback Jackson Hastings attended the U9’s Development Evening at local community club Cadishead Rhinos and was met by a raft of young Red Devils.
This was the third U9’s Development Evening ran by the Salford Red Devils Foundation with two previous events being held at Langworthy Reds and the The Salford Stadium.
There have been around 40 children at each event from local community clubs Cadishead Rhinos, Langworthy Reds, Salford Roosters and Folly Lane.
Hastings, sponsored by Advanced Steel, said: “It was a fantastic experience for me to go down and see all the young locals playing rugby.
“There were some great players there who definitely have the potential to make a career in the game further down the line.
“I know how touch Salford are with the local community and it was great for me to represent the Club in this capacity.”
