It’s two in a row for Chris Hankinson, who has picked-up July’s Try of the Month for his effort against Castleford Tigers in Round 19.
In such an important game for the Reds, the natural centre came on for an injured Sam Stone in the back row and performed to his usual high standards.
The try was Vintage Reds under Paul Rowley; from inside our own half, Marc Sneyd got the ball moving and Ryan Brierley spotted a gap in the Tigers line to poke his head through.
He offloaded to Tim Lafai, who went rampaging downfield and had Hankinson on his inside to send him clean through in front of the jubilant Salford faithful.
