Chris Atkin has been included in the Betfred Super League Team of the Week for Round 5.
It may have been his fellow halfback, Jayden Nikorima who stole the show with a brace, but the all-round performance of our number 14 was crucial in our victory over Huddersfield Giants.
He’s made the name Mr Versatile a trademark during his time at Salford; always putting the team first by unselfishly shifting positions on a consistent basis.
Covering an impressive 141 metres, Atkin also made 23 tackles and kicked a pressure-relieving 40-20 just minutes before the half-time hooter.
