THE ORIGINAL RED DEVILS

Breaking Barriers say Thank You to fans!

At Sunday’s game vs Widnes Vikings, we were joined by ‘Breaking Barriers’ a charity that aims to support disabled children, young people and their families.

The Charity was founded in 2012 by parents of disabled children and helps families so they feel empowered and better able to manage whatever situation they currently face.

They were invited along to the game to do a bucket collection and had a wonderful experience at the game. They raised nearly £350 and were interviewed on the pitch at half time.

The Charity are very grateful for all the kind donations from fans and wanted to say thank you for your generosity.

Steph Sherratt, Co Founder of Breaking Barriers and Mum, said,

“We believe in equality of opportunity, the celebration of difference and aim to challenge and remove barriers to inclusion.

“The support of Salford Red Devils is extremely important to us as a Charity and we are very proud to be associated both with the lottery and with the club.

“At the game on 21st February the generosity of the club and the fans helped us raise almost £350.

“Every penny goes back into making sure we reach out to as many families as we can as often as we can.

“Thank you to everyone at the Salford Red Devils for your continued support and belief in us.”
