The Be A Red programme by Salford Red Devils promotes positive values and community engagement through two key initiatives:
Firstly, the School Reward initiative celebrates students from partner schools in Greater Manchester who embody qualities similar to Salford Red Devils players, such as a positive attitude, hard work, resilience, and a willingness to improve. Schools select a “Be A Red” award winner for each home game, and the chosen student receives a family ticket to recognise their achievements.
The second key component is the Cared for Children Initiative. As part of the club’s Building the Future strategy, this initiative invites all Cared for Children in Salford and their families to experience the spectacle of sport live, and to attend home games during the Super League season.
Fostering pride and inspiration among the city’s youth, the programme aims to raise aspirations of our young people and align them with the ethos of Salford Red Devils both on and off the field.
