Anna Dennis has bagged the Women’s Player of the Month accolade for March.
The flying fullback has taken life at Salford Red Devils by storm, producing two complete performances from our opening bouts of action.
After showing glimpses in her Club debut against Featherstone Rovers, our one and only pre-season friendly, Dennis was at her thrilling best during our Championship opener.
One try and a staggering 24 carries from fullback were the standout statistics as she powered the Red Devils to an important 12-4 home victory over the Sheffield Eagles.
On selecting Anna as March’s winner, Head Coach, Mike Grady has said: “Anna has been fantastic since she has come in and fully deserving of this award. She can score tries, she can create tries and she has made several try-saving tackles so far.
“Her work rate and attitude in training and in games has been quality so far, and if she continues throughout the season the way she has started, then we will have some player on our hands.”
