Salford’s 2018 home kit has been an instant hit with Red Devils supporters who took to social media to express their delight at the kit release.
The kit is a reboot of the home jersey worn by Salford between 1986-1988, a period in which current CEO Ian Blease played, and the fans like the trip down memory lane.
Again, the Red Devils have gone for a red kit but the reintroduction of #FourStripes across the front and on the shoulders has pleased fans. #FourStripes can also be seen on the socks while the new Club crest takes pride of place on the shirt.
Major Club partners Applied Nutrition, Austin Wilkinson, Advanced Steel, Mitsubishi, Prowood, Salmon King and Trust Salford all feature on the 2018 kit.
Salford Red Devils CEO, Ian Blease, said: “I’m also particularly fond of the kit as it’s a reboot of one that I proudly wore in the 1980’s.”
